Event Description:
Join the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce for the 1st Annual From Soil to Supper dinner on August 26th at the Fruita Civic Center from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. The dinner will feature a three-course meal served by Cattlemen’s Café & Catering. Each course will incorporate locally sourced ingredients while showcasing the importance of understanding where our food comes from. Farmers and producers will be joining forces to showcase the hard work they put in daily to feed our community. Through the three courses, you will have the opportunity to experience a locally sourced meal in ways you never have before while supporting your community and our strong agriculture roots. While you enjoy dinner, educational presentations will take place to explain the importance of supporting local farmers and ranchers and the importance of understanding the concept that it all starts in the soil. Live music and local drinks will also be an important part of the night, and the FACC hopes to see you at the From Soil to Supper dinner!
