Event Description:

The 2013 Mike the Headless Chicken Festival will be held May 17 and 18 at the Fruita Civic Center Pavilion, and will mark the 15th Anniversary of the event.

 

The theme for 2013 is “Mikeritaville”, and activities and contests have been planned to fit the beach theme. These include beach volleyball, kids sand castle building, limbo contest, beach ball giveaway, and lots of live music. The festival also offers a disc golf competition at the Fruit Disc Golf course, 5k fun run, bike poker ride, eating contests, vendors and plenty of free family fun.
