WTF Network 1st Thursday
Welcome Thursday Friends!
The WTF Network is a Fruita Chamber sponsored networking group that meets Thursdays at noon at Fruita area restaurants.
Meet your fellow Fruita Chamber members in a relaxed setting. We eat lunch, chat, talk about business, and generally have a good time.
If you're not a Fruita Chamber member, you're welcome to attend once or twice to check out the group, but we'd love for you to join the Chamber and become a regular attendee!

Sweet Heart Run & Health Expo
February is National Heart Health Month, and the City of Fruita and Family Health West will host the 9th Annual Sweet Heart Run and Health Expo to promote healthy hearts on February 13, 2016. The 5k and 10k runs begin at 10 am at the Fruita Community Center. A free community health expo will also be held in the gymnasium of the Community Center from 9 am to 1 pm. The expo will feature free screenings and education from local health-related businesses, and is open to the entire community. The best dressed couple will win a 32” flat screen TV donated by Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Associates! Along with free entry into the Fruity Community Center for the day, participants will receive a custom technical run tee (guaranteed to first 400 registered participants) and refreshments This event is presented by the City of Fruita and Family Health West. To register for the race visit www.sweetheartrun.com or the Fruita Community Center by February 9th. Pre-registered packet pick-up is highly recommended on Friday, February 12 from 5-6:30 pm. Race day registration is from 8-9:45 am in the gymnasium.

Moors and McCumber
James Moors and Kurt McCumber are an acoustic duo specializing in Americana, folk, melody, and stories. While both men are successful solo songwriters, Moors being an official recipient of the McKnight Foundation Emerging Artist Grant and McCumber having won the Flat Rock Festival Songwriting Competition, when they come together their sound becomes larger than life. The two met at the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival in 2005 and immediately knew that together their music would be something beautiful, something different. They started writing songs that straddled the line between folk and pop and never looked back. Switching up their instruments on more songs than not, these two keep their tunes exciting and their audience electrified.
